It is hard to believe that it is actually 2015.. in my mind, last summer seems just like last month! I am sure time must be speeding up?! As I am now able to catch up posting pics from last summer, I thought I would start with Irene & Lung’s gorgeous wedding at Wotton House set in the rolling hills of the Surrey countryside.
This wedding combines the bride wearing two amazing dresses(!), beautiful Chinese details and traditions as well as beautiful pastel creations and a pretty collection of bride and groom portraits. I can’t really express in words just how much I enjoyed being part of Irene & Lung’s day but I hope just how happy they are comes across in their pictures.
It was such a privilege to witness the tea ceremony and to see Irene dressed in her beautiful gifts..
Lung was a very busy man with the day scheduled to start at 9am; he was to be found rushing around making sure everything was just perfect.. a few snaps along the way!
Following in Chinese tradition, Irene & Lung have their first walk together of their wedding day..
Such a stunning bride! Irene’s hair and make up were by Natasha Wiggins
Petals and candles added to the romantic feel of the ceremony room..
And one very happy family indeed!
The bridesmaids and ushers were so wonderful and so much fun!!
A v. scary moment in the day for me(!)- the precarious rooftop position overlooking the grounds … completely worth it to get this picture though … thank you to the ladies from John Harris videography for the encouragement!
The wedding breakfast and delicate details fitted so perfectly with the soft and beautiful look Irene had created..
Following the wedding breakfast we took the opportunity to get some lovely evening pictures, the sun was still shining after the first dance as well, so even more opportunities to use the beautiful grounds…
I love these final pictures and how completely and utterly happy Irene & Lung are to be in this moment together…
This embrace is perhaps my favourite!
Thank you to Irene & Lung for being so incredibly thoughtful and kind to be with and so very patient(!) to photograph, I will always have so many happy memories from your day..
